Cosmetic Dentistry

Tooth Colored Fillings: Silver tooth fillings are history! Tooth colored fillings have been used in our practice for years now. Tooth colored fillings look better, are stronger, and research proves can even be healthier than silver fillings. Plus, you will have a more confident smile!

Porcelain Veneers: Veneers allow Dr. Keith and Dr. Denson to become artists…and the result is your perfect smile! Dental veneers are thin shells of tooth-colored porcelain designed to cover the front surface of your tooth. When bonded carefully to prepared teeth, the changes in color, shape, size or length results in a cosmetic improvement. Veneers can be applied to one tooth, or ultimately create a dramatic new smile!

Teeth Whitening: Absolutely the easiest thing you can do to improve your smile cosmetically! There are several comfortable options….just ask!!

Porcelain Crowns & Bridges: Modern dentistry allows for both crowns and bridges to be developed with natural-looking porcelain. The result is a more natural look, and not a metallic look.

Crown: a cap, or strong, long-lasting tooth-shaped porcelain covering that fits over an existing tooth to strengthen, restore, or improve the appearance of         the tooth.

Why is a crown a good choice?

               • Duplicates or improves natural tooth color
               • Eliminates chips, cracks, and imperfections
               • Enhances your smile
               • Covers badly shaped or discolored teeth
               • Restores and maintains your natural bite
               • Protects a weak tooth from cracking
               • Discourages further decay

Bridge: a bridge can be either fixed or removable, and is a group of connected crowns

Fixed Bridge: Generally made of porcelain and metal, a fixed bridge is used to replace missing teeth. It is a group of connected crowns, some of which are suspended over the area of a missing tooth or teeth, and the others of which are anchored by the neighboring teeth or dental implants for support

Removable Bridge: Recommended in complex dental situations to restore support and function in the case of several missing and/or damaged teeth. Can be more affordable than a fixed bridge.

Why is a bridge a good choice?

               • Replaces missing teeth
               • Provides for natural tooth color
               • Restores and maintains natural bite
               • Covers bad or misshaped teeth
               • Prevents shifting and tilting of adjacent teeth

Single Visit Crowns/Onlays (CEREC)

CEREC is a computerized dental restorative system that allows us to make a ceramic crown, veneer, or onlay in just one visit…..

Traditional restorative dentistry requires several visits by the patient, who must endure extensive drilling, rubbery impression material placed in the mouth, a fragile temporary restoration, and a two-to-four week wait for the laboratory to fabricate the crown. This is no longer the case!

The CEREC procedure only removes the contaminated material, preserving healthy tooth structure. The dentist has complete control over timing, fit and color, and time is not spent waiting on moldings and crowns to be turned to the dental office.

CEREC benefits to the patient include saving time and pain, no impressions, no mercury, conservation of tooth structure, with the end result being strong and aesthetically pleasing teeth!!
