When you only drink water, you do not get the fluoride that your teeth need to avoid getting cavities. Drinking water is very good for you, but you need to make sure you are getting everything you can out of the water you do end up drinking.
Bottled Water Leaves Much to Be Desired
Fluoride isn't the only thing that comes with drinking tap water. One of the more common minerals that comes from tap water is iron.
If you suffer from anemia, that means that you don't have enough iron. Part of the reason for anemia may be that you aren't drinking enough water from your tap.
Calcium, which gives you strong bones and teeth, is also found in tap water. If you want to make sure you are getting enough calcium in your diet, then you need to make sure that you are drinking plenty of water.
Magnesium is also found in tap water, which helps your bones stay strong. These items are difficult to find naturally in one place other than tap water.
If you want to keep your body healthy from drinking water, then you need to make sure you are drinking the right water.
If you don't like the tap water you have at home, seek out some water that you do like.
Perhaps the water fountain at work or the water at your best friend's house is better than yours. If so, ask if you can fill up a few bottles at a time and bring those home to drink. Drinking a little bottled water is alright, but the majority of what you drink should be tap.
