Our patients love the ease, speed, and significant impact that teeth whitening can provide. We can help you achieve a look that will remarkably give you an appearance of being healthier, brighter, and even younger.

In a competitive professional world, we can give you a smile that will lighten up a room, increasing your self-confidence and giving you a reason to want to smile.

Teeth Whitening Options

There are several teeth whitening options available on the market today. Some include over-the-counter gels, rinses, toothpaste, and strips.

There are also bleaching kits that can be purchased online or in drugstores. However, it is essential to note that not all products are created equal. Many of them are not very effective at all.

Our doctors, Dr. Clay Keith and DrPaul Denson, can offer a much higher dosage of the active whitening ingredient, peroxide than can be provided over the counter due to its strong effect. Peroxide used at high levels can cause burning on the soft tissue of your gums; done under our watchful eye and direction is best.

Our option for teeth whitening is both safe and affordable and will provide you with

Should I whiten before having restoration work done?

Before having restoration work done, many patients find that it is the ideal time to have their teeth whitened.

This is because we match the color of your restorative prosthesis, whether it’s a crown, a bridge, your veneer, or a denture device, to the enamel of the neighboring teeth. If you then later choose to whiten your teeth, the peroxide will not be able to alter the color of your prosthetic; it will remain the same, causing it to match your freshly whitened teeth then no longer.

On the other hand, starting with new white teeth, having you're prosthetic shaded to match will merely require a whitening touch-up once a year or so to maintain a constant color match. Our team at The Center for Implant and General Dentistry can help.

Why are my teeth so yellow?

There are several reasons why teeth may become yellow over time. The most common reason is the foods we eat and the beverages we drink.

Coffee, tea, and red wine can all cause staining on the surface of our teeth. In addition, some foods like blueberries and soy sauce can also lead to discoloration.

Other factors contributing to yellow teeth include smoking and the natural aging process. As we age, the outer layer of our tooth enamel begins to thin, revealing the inner, yellow layer of dentin.

Yellowed teeth often promote a feeling of being used, of being older, and of being unclean. We can change that.

We can whiten your teeth, giving you a fresher, whiter, and cleaner look. An average smile can go unnoticed, but a beautiful smile can gain the attention of everyone around you. We can help.

Teeth Whitening Made Easy

We offer both in-office and at-home prescribed kits to whiten your teeth. Whatever your preference, Dr. Clay Keith and Dr. Paul Denson can make recommendations that best suit your lifestyle and needs.

Our in-office treatments are performed in about one hour using a high peroxide dosage and careful monitoring. This will provide you with dramatic results that you will love. For those who prefer the convenience of at-home treatments, we also offer custom bleaching trays that are fitted to your mouth and gums. Our at-home kits are less expensive, will take one to two weeks, and use less peroxide than in the office but higher than can be purchased at the store. We are happy to work with your needs.

Whether you are looking for a quick in-office treatment or the convenience of at-home whitening, we can help you achieve the beautiful smile you desire. Please schedule an appointment today to learn more about our teeth whitening options!

Benefits of Teeth Whitening

Aside from the obvious benefit of having whiter teeth, teeth whitening has many benefits.

Whiter teeth can promote better oral hygiene, as yellowed and stained teeth are more challenging to clean than white ones. This can lead to gum disease and other problems.

Whiter teeth can also make you look younger. A beautiful smile can take years off your appearance and make you look, and feel, more attractive.

Teeth whitening can also boost your self-confidence, making you more likely to want to smile and be social. This can lead to better relationships with others and improved work performance.

It will draw people to you, and you will feel better about yourself.

Another benefit of teeth whitening is that it can be done at any time and is relatively inexpensive. There is no need to wait for a special occasion, and the results are immediate.

We also provide 100% safe and effective teeth whitening treatments. This is because our treatments are performed by licensed professionals who have years of experience. We also use the latest technologies and equipment to ensure that your teeth are not damaged during the treatment.

There are many benefits to teeth whitening, and our team at The Center for Implant and General Dentistry can help you achieve the smile you’ve always wanted. Contact us today to schedule a consultation.
