Dr. Clay KeithHello! I'm Dr. Clay Keith.

My philosophy for patient care has always been very straightforward: provide my patients with enough information to make good decisions concerning their dental health. I believe in always being honest, gentle, never judgemental, extensively compassionate, and consistently understanding. Many times, my patients will hear me say, "If you were my family member, this is what I would recommend." It is so true! This feeling has always guided me to make the right decisions concerning patient care.

All patients bring a different set of circumstances that make them unique. I strive to get to know my patients on a personal level before tailoring a treatment plan to meet their needs.

Personally, I am a native of historic Jefferson, Texas, where I graduated salutatorian of my class in 1992. I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University (Class of '96). I attended Baylor College of Dentistry and earned by Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 2001.

After receiving my license, I returned to East Texas to practice dentistry with Dr. John C. Watkins. I was very fortunate to be able to start my career working beside an amazing clinician. In 2007, Dr. Paul Denson joined the practice, and this was one of the best decision I ever made: to partner with someone who strived for the same practice goals and philosophy as me.

In 2011, we were blessed to open our current state-of-the-art facility for patients to enjoy in Lindale. Not just for patients who reside in Lindale, but for those coming from the surrounding communities now, and for years to come!

Professionally, I maintain memberships in American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Smith County Dental Society, Southwest Prosthodontic Society, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and American Academy of Implant Dentistry.

Beginning in 2005, I began to study the science of implant dentistry at Misch International Implant Institute in Detroit, Michigan. The course was taught by Dr. Carl Misch, a true pioneer of implant dentistry. Dr. Misch developed the Implant Institute (MIII) in 1984 to elevate the standard of care in implant dentistry using a hands-on training approach. Now world renown, the Institute’s unique approach is to provide the most progressive and documented information, and outstanding patient experience. Graduates of MIII, like myself, are able to use this knowledge and experience throughout their careers.

In 2009, I was honored to receive the prestigious Fellowship Award from the International Congress of Oral Implant Dentistry.

I pride my practice on continuing education, and insure that my staff and I keep up with the latest and best techniques to offer our patients. This allows us to be diverse in practice, and provide you outstanding choices in dental care.

My hobbies include spending quality time with my family, traveling to sporting events, playing golf, and duck hunting.

Thank you for taking the time to learn about me! I look forward to meeting you and your family members in person!
